This self-contained electric/ hydraulic unit will also cut other items like chains, bolts, steel mesh, rebar, locks and rod. The MU16 can cut in close proximity to a trapped victim in rescue situations, as it does not produce sparks or heat when in operation.
The MU16 also features a safety relief valve for retracting the piston and opening the cutting jaws if required by the operator. The cutting blades have 3 cutting edge faces and can be rotated to the next clean cutting edge. This model can come in rear D handle and top D handle variations depending on whatever the operators preferences are.
