On the morning of August 2, 2010, a three man crew arrived to construct our 30′x40′ metal building. All the materials were brought with them on a flatbed trailer pulled by a pickup truck. The concrete floor and front pad had been poured the previous month.
Sorry for all the still photos. We had not gotten our video camera yet. However, this should give you a decent idea of what all is involved in constructing one of these buildings.
The building itself is 40′ across the front and 30′ deep. The walls are 12′ high. The roll-up door is a 10′x10′ set in 4′ from the end wall. We also upgraded the walk thru door to the 36″x80″ and added two extra windows. The alarm system, security cameras and motion detectors will be in soon.
This video is for entertainment only and is in no way an instructional video. The three men in this presentation are professional construction workers and specialize in constructing metal buildings.

Also something to note around Mighty Car Mods: we are normal guys and are not trained mechanics. We like to make interesting car mods and show you how we’ve gone about it, but we can’t promise that anything we show you will work for your particular car, or that you won’t harm yourself, someone else, your car or your warranty doing it. Please be safe, be responsible and unless you know what you’re doing, do not fool around with very serious machinery just because you’ve seen us make it look so easy. Talk to a qualified mechanic if you are in any doubt.
