In this video I’m going to show you how to troubleshoot and replace your PTO clutch and switch on a simplicity Regent mower from 2007. However this will cover other tractors with electric PTO those from that same era such as craftsman, Murray, MTD, cup cadet,
husky Toro, Troy Bilt and even John Deere. Basically what I show is what you should be looking for as far as voltage going to your PTO switch and then if the voltage is ultimately making it all the way down to your PTO clutch. I’ll also show you a makeshift bypass to run the PTO directly if your switch has gone bad. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!
