https://www.MuggyWeld.com demonstrates how to solder stainless steel to aluminum with Super Alloy 1 solder and flux.

Previously, joining these two metals was unheard of in the welding community. Super Alloy 1, the 350 degree solder, makes easy work of this seemingly impossible of application.

This multi-metal solder is paired with a unique flux that works as a temperature guide, turning brown at the proper working temperature, and indicating when to add the Super Alloy 1 rod.

Tip: Indirect heating is very important when using this duo.

While almost any torch system can be used, we recommend larger torch tips to broadly heat the work piece. Oxyacetylene can be used with the oxygen turned low. A heat gun can also be used with this low temp solder.

Internally Threaded Labrets Studs when fitted look exactly the same as standard labret studs. View our ranges – https://www.karmase7en.com/labret-piercing-jewellery/internally-threaded-labret-studs.html

As with standard labret studs they are made up from 2 pieces: A Ball, and a Stem with a flat base. The only difference with Internally Threaded Labret Studs is the position of the thread. Instead of the thread being on the stem and threading into the ball, the thread is on the ball and screws down into the inside of the stem. This means that the stem of the labret stud is completely smooth and will not irritate the hole when being pushed through the piercing. Ideal if you need to change your jewellery before your piercing has healed, or even if you have particularly irritable skin. Another benefit of Internally Threaded Labrets Studs is that you can wear flatter, thinner and smaller balls and discs.
