Screws Get Loose is a Rorschach test spectacle in motion — a visual amalgam of the world of Bob Fosse, Japanese Noh theater and 1970′s television performances — spiked with a mask of Hannya and an homage to Nobuyoshi Araki.
Jessi Darlin explains, “What’s the song about? It’s about spreading yourself thin, going out on a limb, feeling the need for independence but being uncomfortable being alone. It’s about not knowing if you’re crazy or if the worlds just crazy.”
