More info at https://www.planetz.com/toothpick-trick-for-loose-screws. In this short video, I demonstrate a simple technique using a toothpick to fix the loose tuner screws on a guitar. When you have a screw that just spins freely in the hole, it won’t tighten because the wood fibers in the hole are stripped out and no longer gripping the screw threads. Use one or more toothpicks to fill the hole and cut them off flush – no glue necessary – and the screws will now tighten perfectly. The soft wood of the toothpick makes the perfect filler.

This panel offers a frank and informal conversation about the unique and fundamental relationship between artists and their gallerists. American artist Stanley Whitney speaks with gallerist Claes Nordenhake about how they met, how they came to work together, and if and how their working relationship has changed over time. What is the significance of this relationship and how does it differ from other relationships? What have they learned from each other and what are their plans for the future?
