Alot of people have asked me how I fixed my upper shock bolts on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee ( XJ ). Well I used my impact hammer or Air Hammer and knocked the old bolt out, then with a piece of safety wire and pulled a new bolt through the hole..that’s about it..lol You need 4 Grade 8 bolts 3/8″or 5/16″ x 1 1/2″ long. 4 lock washers and 4 nuts to match.
***IMPORTANT***Only the flex fuel 5.3 has a serviceable fuel filter. The 8th digit of the VIN is Z for flex fuel.***
***ALSO I needed a special tool to disconnect the filter***
