Taking off some of the bazillion 10mm valve cover/cam cover bolts on a 1995 Volvo 850 junk motor. The bolts have never been removed. Battery life is still questionable, down to 50% life.
One really nice thing is this impact driver is it is very fast. MUCH quicker than using an air ratchet. 8-14mm bolts are a snap for this thing. It took off the 13mm strut tower bolts with ease as well. I almost see no need for a 3/8″ electric impact. Just this and a bigger 1/2″ air impact for the bigger stuff. What would be really neat is if you could dial in a torque, say at 5 ft-lbs increments, and it would stop automatically. Would make assembly a snap as well.
Good thing this set comes with two batteries! They do charge fairly quickly. Sorry about quality I am using an old camera.
