Stainless steel wire balustrade system for use with metal posts.

Get instant online balustrade quote using our website online balustrade builder program.

Learn how to install balustrade using a Jaw Swage Bottlescrew Flip Toggle.

    Script

The Jaw Swage Bottlescrew System with flip toggle is a streamline alternative to the traditional fork terminal. The flip toggle was designed and developed by Miami Stainless to create an adjustable termination point with no visible fittings, reducing bulk on the wire.

To install, mark out and drill all of your posts at the required spacing and hole size. This system requires a 6mm hole in the inside face of the end post receiving flip toggles, a 10mm hole in the opposite end post receiving blind nut rivets and a 7.5mm hole in intermediate posts.

Use an HN-02 Nut Rivet Tool to insert blind nut rivets into pre-drilled end posts. Alternatively Miami Stainless can supply posts with nut rivets pre-inserted.

Thread eye bolts into the nut rivets and lock in place by tightening the hex nuts against the face of the post.

Insert the flip toggle and swage terminal into the 6mm pre-drilled hole. Pull the wire to flip the toggle and lock in place.

Remove the swaged wire end and hex nut from the bottlescrew and feed through pre-drilled intermediate posts.

Reattach fittings to the bottlescrew body then connect the fork end to the eye bolt. Tension the wires by rotating the bottlescrew body using a ProRig Multi-Tool.

Fasten the hex nuts against the body of the bottlescrew to lock the system in place.

    Repeat to finish your installation.
