    $0 cost repair. BMW Front Seat Twist Repair, E34, E39 and other cars that use cables for seat adjustment. VERY IMPORTANT: Before taking the seat out adjust it straight. If seat is repaired crooked it will stay crooked and will not adjust straight. If it’s not possible you can adjust the seat when it is out of the car by turning the steel cable using pliers or electric drill. From the motor side push steel cable inward to engage the seat adjusting mechanism then turn steel cable until the seat is straight. It’s a lot easier and faster to do it when seat is connected to the car’s electrical system using seat adjustment knobs.
    Problem: when seat is adjusted only one side is adjusting twisting the seat side ways. Repair is simple when the seat is removed out of the car.
