Director Whit Stillman (Metropolitan) returns to New York nightlife themes, this time with a very danceable beat. Two beautiful recent college graduates played by Kate Beckinsale (Serendipity) and Chlöe Sevigny (“Big Love”) escape at night from their publishing jobs and terrible apartment to the most popular dance club of disco’s waning days in the early ’80s, with New Wave breezes blowing in fashion and music.
