Note: first, either tape down or remove the lid for safety. In this video, I removed the glass lid first. The metal clips on the XL appear different than typical models, so we decided to share an easy way to remove the lid to fish out garments that may have fallen between the drum and tub, etc. We hope this helps… If so, give it a thumbs up!
