We heard that you can use oven cleaner to clean engine parts, so we gave a try. Always use gloves and a mask when using oven cleaner. Spray the parts generously. This stuff will kill your grass so do it in a spot you don’t really care about. You can see the oven cleaner working as the engine oil melts off. After about 15 or 20 minutes, rinse the parts with a water hose to see the results. For about $3 a can the results were pretty awesome.
