Time for another Odds and Ends Episode to clear off the bench of all the neat stuff that has come in the shop over the past few weeks. We start with some old beat up dial indicators that I sent to M.R. Tool Repair to have rebuilt – and thy look GREAT! Other items include a batch of horizontal mill cutters that I got from the Bar Z Bash, a copy of Kent’s Mechanical Engineers Handbook, the book “Running a Regal” by LeBlond and a sales brochure for a Kearney & Trecker Model H Dividing Head. The last few items include a box full of square head bolts as well as a nice set of spanner wrenches and some large pipe taps. Enjoy!

Here is a tour of my rolling DIY workbench and saw station that I originally built with standard lumber and a sheet of plywood. I’ve incorporated a few useful features like a miter saw extensions, clamping assemblies, easy power access as well as some other odds and ends. As with many of my projects I tried to use what I had on hand such as carriage bolts, electrical conduit, scrap lumber, etc,. Hopefully it might give you some ideas for your next workbench project. Thanks for watching
