Had a couple of bolt holes stripped out on my turbo compressor housing, so I decided to give the Helicoil thread repair kit a try to see if that would fix them. Seems easy enough. Just get the kit for the size bolt you need, drill out the hole at the specified size, thread the hole with the included tap, insert the stainless steel coil, tap out the tang at the bottom of the coil, and you are done. Beats spending $175 for a new compressor housing.
