Adam and the guys restore a 1956 Rocket 88 for a former Oldsmobile employee. There’s a new welder in the Mobsteel crew after Adam goes robot shopping.

I started seeing severe recoil effects in my videos from my GoPro Speargun mount on Mako 110 speargun. The use of #10-24 screw as the base for the mount cannot stand recoils from the 110cm gun with 2 X 5/8 bands. I still want to mount GoPro at the tip of my gun, so I decided to use my Riffe Euro 100X for the new mount. One thing I do not want to do with my guns is to make holes to attach things. Fortunately, Riffe Euro series have the stainless steel spacer for reinforcement and to block the slings to come off from guns. I can shape a aluminum bar to fit the mount into the slot where the spacer is inserted. I used some metal files to shape the aluminum bar as the base bracket. It took time, but it was not too bad to make. I had to make the insert section of the bracket as the same thickness as the Riffe spacer. All in all it worked out really well. It seemed to be my best GoPro mount so far. Recoils did not shake the camera too much. The bracket is pretty stable. I can still get close to fish because the camera is attached to the tip of my gun.

I gathered all my parts from Homedepot and mcmaster.com
