They offer up to 40kg of kickback resistance versus standard plastic featherboards. The hardened foam feathers will not harm carbide tipped blades and router bits if contacted, prolonging cutting edge sharpness. The non marring feathers are easy on soft and hardwoods and absorb vibration resulting in a chatter free feed. The feathers are reversible to allow for left or right feed, horizontal or vertical.
These FeatherPro featherboards are designed for use with router tables and saw benches and come supplied with T bolts and T bar for use with 1/2″ and 3/4″ T tracks and mitre slots. Sold as a pack of 2 each FeatherPro measures 220mm wide by 200mm long with a depth of 20mm and comes with standard feathers for applications requiring medium to strong pressure. For fine control on delicate cuts Ultra Light feathers are available as an option. All FeatherPro carry a one year limited warranty against manufacturers defects. Be prepared to be impressed. ©
