When installing something, such as a vice, in wood it pays to use lag bolts over wood screws or even other bolts with nuts. It’s generally a simpler install without the need for additional hardware beyond a washer to keep your installed vice or object secure.
However, a lag bolt and wood screw ae not quite the same thing. A few questions about this came up in our previous Vice Install video that our fastener specialist wanted to clear up.

FOR THE RAIL
2 aluminioum pipes (desired lenght) 17 mm diam. (mine are 120cm)
1 aluminioum square tube (same lenght as above)
2 pieces of plywood 20cm x 15cm 1cm thick
8 woodscrews 3cm long
2 tripod adapters
2 1/4in bolts with nuts
FOR THE CART
2 pieces of plywood 15cm x 10cm 0,5 cm thick
3 threated rods 17cm long
6 wheels with bearings
12 nuts and several washers
1 wooden block about 14cm x 7cm x10cm
4 wood screws 4cm long
1 3/4 bolt long enought to connect your tripod head
