This is a video showing how to maintain your extra van security locks, the focus is on the hook type deadlock and how to free it if it becomes stuck. It also shows how to lubricate the key hole (barrel) and what lubricant to use.
In the winter months, both the key hole and the hook bolts should be lubricated monthly. In the summer months, they should still be lubricated as often as possible, but it is not so important to be every month.
