Chapter 12. Batch approval for the washer-disinfector
The washer-disinfector must be approved after every batch. The MELAtherm 10 tutorial shows you how to perform batch documentation in accordance with the legal requirements.
The currently-applicable reverse burden of proof means that documented batch approval is essential. You can perform documentation using a documentation sheet or a software solution such as MELAtrace.
The approval software MELAtrace permits complete, quick and safe paperless documentation. The intuitive operator interface enables reproducible documentation of the entire workflow from the MELAtherm to Vacuklav.

Alternatively, you can use the documentation sheet provided on the last pages of the user manual. Use the documentation template for the following information: Batch number, personnel number, approval date, program name and evaluation of success.
