Just sharing some ideas, tips and techniques on how to remove those stubborn brake rotor screws that won’t come out easily by using manual impact screw driver. Many companies made this type of tool, cheapest being Craftsman and most expensive being Snap-On.
Another tip is to apply PB Blaster and let is sit for a few minutes to remove rust before actually turning using a screwdriver.
But if the screws already strip, what you can do is get a small drill bit like 1/8″ and drill a small hole on the screw cap. Then use a reverse drill bit. Use a hammer to knock the reverse bit in. You can attached to bit to a cordless driver or sometimes even a plyer might work.
Tips on drilling bit, it is always easier to drill metal by using some oil as lubricant.
