Remove most or all the rust from nuts, screws, bolts cheap and easy. I am working on cleaning up a free bike that I got. It was very dirty and rusty. A lot of the rust came off easily. Some of the screws were pretty rusty. So here is one of the tricks I use to remove the rust from them. I simply put them in a plastic bottle with some apple cider vinegar and shake them every once in a while. Very easy! You will have to remove the screws from the bike.

I’m finally lifting my 1 ton crew cab and this video shows the ins and outs of the process. The lift is a 4″ from Offroad Design (ORD). https://www.offroaddesign.com/ . This truck is a 4×4 with a 454, TH400 auto trans, NP205 transfer case, Dana 60 front axle, and 14 bolt free floater rear axle.
Because of a few changes and mainly old sagging springs, this 4″ lift actually lifted the truck around 6.25″ on the rear of the truck. The new springs may break in and give less lift. If that happens I will update this description.
A Parts list is below:
ORD 4″ shackle flip brackets
ORD 4.5″ Super Shackles
ORD greasable bolts and bushings for entire rear suspension
Replacement rear stock springs
New rear spring U-bolts
Tuff Country SX8000 shocks front and rear
Tuff Country HD 4″ lift front replacement springs
New Dana 60 U-bolt kit
ORD greasable bolts/bushings for the front of the frontsprings
ORD heavy duty greasable front shackles
Skyjacker drop pitman arm
ORD extended braided stainless brake lines
