All Lyman™ molds are heat-treated which, causes the metal to appear blue in color. The mold features hardened steel alignment pins that provide you with years of bullet casting.
The mold’s sprue plates are made from solid steel, which are ground flat and held tightly in place with tempered steel spring washers and screws. In addition, Lyman™ molds required break-in time is often half the time required for iron molds. Mold handles are not included.
