This procedure applies to the 5R55W, 5R55S and 5R55N Transmissions. It is very common for these servo bores to ware, specially the overdrive servo bore. I’ve seen that on many units the servo gets stuck and it brakes from the base, and the most common issue would be broken and burned bands with Gear Ratio Error codes.
