This guardrail uses a steel inner core which is connected to a base plate and bolted to the floor using 15/16″ anchor bolts. Polyethylene anti-static sleeves are then slipped over the steel core to give your guardrail a smooth look that will never chip, rust, or need painted. Base plate installation is extremely sturdy and is the most common used method of installing this particular type of guardrail.
