The cordless powered threaded rod cutter can save time and effort as it is designed to be used in factory and on-site environments. The threaded rod cutter cuts cleanly on both sides of the rod, enabling nuts to be screwed on either side with ease. This unit boasts a portable and compact design for use in cordless applications as it is powered by a 18 Volt Hitachi Lithium Ion battery & motor.
The DW-408B cordless threaded rod cutter is extremely reliable, powerful and easy to use and is able to cut M8, M10, M12, 3/8 & 1/2 Whitworth (as well as 1/2 & 3/8 UNC) mild steel and stainless steel hooker rod (all thread). This unit features a locking pin system that enables the user to switch and change cutting dies in a matter of seconds.
