Thought I would share my personal method of removing and installing fixed sights on guns without buying a dedicated “Sight Pusher”. I’ve seen pushers that cost about $50 for cheap ones up to over $200 for more elaborate ones. If you are like most guys, you have a vice that can also serve as a sight pusher. I am using a milling vise but you can also use a regular mechanics vise from Harbor Freight. Or, You can also bang on it with a hammer and punch but I prefer to hit my gun as little as possible. Or you can pay an expert to hit it with a hammer for you. Whatever you choose, Be safe and thanks for watching.

Disclaimer: Use your own judgement as to whether this method works for you. Internet trolls are quick to point out ridiculous things to prove they know more than me. Let me be clear: This is not the only way, or the best way. There are other ways to do this. This is just one way to do it.

Comment to Internet Trolls, bitter gunsmiths or “experts” ,and know-it-alls: Get a life, take a jog, walk your dog. Get out from in front of your computer. Put down your smart phone. Quit being so angry at life. Have a good day.
