For more than a century, Homasote has been the market leader in specialty floor, roof, and wall panel boards. No other fiberboard is manufactured like Homasote, the result is an innovative product of unmatched quality and engineering. It’s because of our dedication to these principles that we’re excited to announce that we are BIM ready through the BIMsmith Platform.
Our 440 SoundBarrier is a uniquely high-performing product; with less material and less labor, you can expect better results. The 440 SoundBarrier will help you meet required IBC minimum ratings of 50 in both Sound Transmission Class (STC) and Impact Insulation Class (IIC). In fact, our U305 wall assembly will achieve an STC of 53 in a traditional 2×4 wood stud and 5/8” gypsum board assembly, simply by adding one ½” layer of our 440 SoundBarrier between the stud and the gypsum board under just one side. Our 440 SoundBarrier can also be used in fire rated walls and had been certified by UL in many assemblies.
Designing with Homasote couldn’t be easier! Simply visit BIMsmith.com and load the wall builder in BIMsmith Forge. To build a wall simply add a layer, choose a category and then click through the available selections. Homasote can be found under the Sound Attenuation category. Other products such as studs, and paint may be placed accordingly.
If you prefer a prebuilt system, you can browse through the system starter drawer found on the right side of your screen. In the system starter drawer you can filter by performance criteria such as STC, UL or fire rating. Once your system, is ready to go, simply name it and hit “Build”. Once you have built your assembly all the data you need is at your fingertips. System families for Revit, AutoCAD details, 3 part specs and more are ready for you at the click of a button.
Once a system is brought into Revit, simply copy and paste it into your project. You can then use it throughout your design. We have also provided a Revit quantity takeoff with the download so you can derive the square footages of each of the materials utilized within your building.
We’re certain you’ll find the quality, craftsmanship, and performance of our products to be unmatched. Combined with the seamless integration of our BIM Content, you’ll have all the tools you need to give your client the best possible performing assemblies.

Stage 2 PRObuilt Air Ride Beam Complete – 2207 – https://www.airkewld.com/Stage-2-PRObuilt-Air-Ride-Beam-Complete-2207-p/2207.htm
The dilemma, how to narrow a type 3 front end? You can’t. You want to lower it to get some ride back. Drop spindles, right? Not likely. Solve the problem completely with a PRObuilt beam that does both and gives you 7″ of up and down movement when controlled with an air management kit. Ride quality, check. Drop, check. Bolt on solution, check. Install your factory disc brakes, check. Want to install 4 piston Wilwood and finally have performance braking? Check. Pretty soon, you start looking at all those checked boxes and the decision is simple. Go PRObuilt!
The Stage 2 PRO-Built Beam is built to order and can take up to 2 months to assemble. Please be patient as we supply you with the industries best front suspension.
This Stage 2 complete 4″ narrowed front end is spindle to spindle, built on Air Ride. Comes powder coated or chrome plated, ready to install. The beam will fit all Type 3 Squareback’s, Notchback’s and Fastback’s, even the type 34 Razor.
The installation of this beam requires a couple minor mods. It requires two holes drilled into the trunk section for the shock studs, trimming of the pinch mold on the front bulkhead and the bottom mounts. For more info on the mods, please read the install article here.

New Ultimate Air Ride Beam

Classic VW Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit – 4152 – https://www.airkewld.com/Classic-VW-Front-Disc-Brake-Conversion-Kit-4152-p/4152.htm
Applications
You need to have 15″ and larger wheels for our disc brakes to work.
Tips
5x130mm, 5×4.75 and 5×4.50 do NOT add track width. 5x205mm add 3/8″ to each side.
Kits Contains
BAD Series rotors in a bolt pattern of your choice with cross drilled rotors, calipers, pads, seals, hardware, caliper brackets and master cylinder.
Recommendations
We recommend the installation kit with every disc brake kit we offer. This kit comes with FAG German roller bearings, stainless steel flexible brake hoses, brake reservoir and a pair of new brake light switches.
Why BAD Series Brakes?
Are you tired of adjusting your brakes just to have a subpar brake feel? Do you have to pump your pedal 100 yards before a stop light? Are you trying to fit custom wheels on your ride? Are you tired of buying cheap imported parts? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, the BAD Series Disc brake kit is what you need! My biggest recommendation is for you to only spend your money once. In doing that, make sure you get all the parts needed to do the install right the first time.
Pros versus Cons
Warranty, weight, options, made in the USA and the ability to use any spindle, dropped or stock height. A lifetime warranty on our rotors as well. Some of our competitors disc brake kits can be in excess of 76lbs per axle. Our heaviest kit weighs in at 48lbs. Our rotors, Wilwood calipers, brackets, etc. are made in the USA. No one else can say that.
The biggest differences are the rotors. The rotors are made of three parts; hub, the bolt pattern and the rotor. All these parts are made in the USA with high end CNC machines. These rotors allow you to use year specific bearing seals and dust caps. The BAD Series rotors have a lifetime warranty as well. If you wear one out, we will send you a new one free, just pay shipping. These hubs allow the interchanging of bolt patterns. What does this mean? If you order them with a Chevrolet 5×4.75 bolt pattern and a few months later you want to install Porsche wheels, you can! All it takes is removing the bolt patterns from the rotors and installing the new ones. Each pattern is sold separately. The last difference is the ability to add a performance caliper to your car.
