The head gasket on my 90 Civic DX has started to go bad. I was using an eBay head gasket set that I purchased for $40 for the complete kit. It gave me a solid year of running the car hard every chance I was given. I don’t think it helps that I didn’t have the head resurfaced when I first installed it onto this different block but I can’t complain. The head has been resurfaced and acid dipped and I’m just waiting for a Supertech head gasket and Supertech valve stem seals to arrive so I can re-install it.
I want to have this car ready at least a month before the season begins so I can work out any issues or areas that need fixing.

Thirty years ago, John McDermott and John Wren were young daredevils in need of union benefits, so they signed up for one of New York’s most dangerous professions: high-rise-window washing.
