This is a device that holds ball mounts, bicycle racks, and cargo carriers on your wall for easy storage. These are the parts we have here, it does need a little bit of assembly, so we’ll show you how it goes together. As you can see we already put the covers on the end of the tubes, they just pop on and you tap them into place no big deal. You do have to take note of what side these bars go on the main support bar, there are angles you have to match up to. It goes in like that and when you know what the general layout is then we can install the hardware. Now you get some common hand tools and tighten them down. In this case a 1/2 inch wrench and 1/2 inch socket. Once you have it assembled, you’ll notice that the angle is towards the wall. This will be the wall mount right here, it gets lag-bolted into place and this part just sits on the floor and bears the weight. You have to have this angle so it puts the weight straight down. You see we have this leaning against the wall here, it stands out away from the wall so it takes all the support weight. What happens next is you install the screws that will hold it against the studs of your wall. Depending on the situation with the wall you have, what’s really nice is that the studs on the inside holes will match 16 inch stud centers. The outside holes measure to 18 inches. The kit comes with four lag bolts to mount on the wall to your garage. Now we’ll show you how to install the dock block, the device that will actually hold your accessory. There’s two positions you can choose from here or the lower one. We’ll choose the middle one here, this part simply slides into place and the pin goes through it. It’s kind of hard to see, but if you can tell there are grooves in the pin that allow you to insert a C-clip. There’s one on each side which will keep the pin from moving side to side. They simply just go over the groove, be careful because they fly and gently push them over. That’s the assembly for BH91411, from Boone outdoor hardware, the Boone Dock.
In this video I give a demonstration of the Calog Loadcell II PCN calibrator / tester.
Calog instruments manufactured by Instrotech, a Comtest Group company:

Features of the CALOG Calibrators – Loadcell II Calibrator
* Portable Loadcell fault finder
* No need to disconnect loadcell — you can do it in situ (onsite)
* Insulation of the loadcell to check for water ingress. Normally measured at 50VDC this is the minimum resistance between the metal body of the load cell and any of its electrical connections.
* Simulate Load output to controller
* Local designed product – Made in South Africa
* SD card for storing / data logging results
* Ruggered
* Loadcell display – LCII will excite the laodcell and measure the output
The CALOG Calibrators – Loadcell II Calibrator is ideal for testing 4 and 6 wire loadcells, checking insulation breakdown, weighing system calibration and simulation.
It can test a loadcells’ zero balance, input resistance, output resistance, bridge balance, 50V DC insulation test from bridge to shield, bridge to housing and shield to housing.
The CALOG Calibrators – Loadcell II Calibrator is a hand-held precision calibrator specifically designed for load cell testing, including insulation breakdown and weighing system calibration or simulation. Simply connect a strain-guage load cell to the spring terminals and press “TEST LOADCELL”. The backlit graphics will display four or six wire, zero balance, input or output resistance and bridge balance. It can then carry out a 50 VDC insulation test form bridge to shield, bridge to housing and shield to housing.
For system testing and calibration the CALOG Calibrators – Loadcell II Calibrator can simultaneously measure mV (with mass display), excitation voltage and mA. In source mode, used for load cell amplifier pre-calibration testing, it can source mV (with mass display), measure excitation and measure mA. In simulate mode it sources a mA signal to the control room or SCADA. The display can be in mA, mA and mass or mass and mA.
* Measure, source and simulate 0 to 24 mA with 1uA resolution
* Measure 0 to 20 V with 1mV resolution
* Measure -4.5 to 35 mV with 1uV resolution
* Measure mV, mV & Mass or Mass & mV
* Source mV, mV & Mass or Mass & mV
* Simulate mA, mA & Mass or Mass & mA
* Built-in 24V power supply for mA loops
* 1 year guarantee (batteries not included)
* Carry case, protective rubber boot, charger and test leads supplied as standard
Other items, terms and topics covered / mentioned in this video:
* 4-20mA process loop, SCADA, PLC
