To set the optimum stroke for riveting a blind rivet nut, you should set the KVT 912 riveter to a stroke of 1 mm. To do this, take the adjusting nut out completely first and then rethread it with a single full turn. Now thread the blind rivet nut on, insert it in the drilled hole and set it. After this first test, it will be seen that the blind rivet nut is not correctly set. To achieve perfect seating, repeat the setting process as often as necessary until the blind rivet nut is perfectly seated in the carrier material.
The KVT 912 is a pneumatic-hydraulic riveter for riveting blind rivet nuts and bolts made of aluminium, steel and stainless steel. The path-controlled machine exerts a maximum force of 30 kN. It is suitable for riveting blind rivet nuts with threads from M3 to M12 and bolts with threads from M4 to M8
