This is a quick tip response to my disc brake video. A very observant viewer mentioned this important fact that I forgot to put into the original video so I will correct that here. Wheel torque probably accounts for at least some percentage of persistent brake vibrations.
Thanks to BigBlockMustang for pointing this out, and thank you for watching. I’ve recently gotten to the 100 subscriber mark and hope to do something special for you in the not to distant future. If you have any show ideas please post a response to this video or send me a PM with your questions.

Something I found recently found that might be of help is this torque chart for different manufacturers.

Finished the tiny house loft extension and hand rail plus putting in bolts for extra strength and support.
I put on the rest of the hand rail in the upstairs of my off grid tiny house loft. I then put in the reclaimed barn wood post for the corner of the hand rail.
Next I went downstairs to secure the new loft extension a bit better with bolts.
The problem is that my drill bits are too short to go through 6 inches of wood. I went to buy a longer drill bit but they are quite expensive and I cant see buying a single drill bit for one time use.
I ended up getting a package of Bosch spade bits. I have some cheap spade bits but the set I have does not go down as small as this set. I needed the variety anyway.
And I got the idea of using my power driver bit extension to extend the drill bit long enough to go through the wood.
It worked!! I drilled the holes for the carriage bolts and put them in with ease.
I am so happy that I thought of this idea and saved some money.
Both Melanie and I are very pleased with the new tiny house loft.
