HI Everyone: Received a request on how to adjust a steering box.This video shows how to properly adjust your steering box. You turn the adjusting screw clockwise to tighten the box. Always check for notes or procedure on all vehicles, on Mercedes you loosen the locknut and turn the adjusting screw counter clockwise to tighten the steering. On Domestic and Asain vehicles you turn clockwise. On vehicles that don’t have power steering there will usually be a fill or vent plug you remove to make sure the box has the correct amount of fluid in it before making any other adjustments.
