This homemade drying rack allows garlic or herbs to hang and nutrients from stalks to be absorbed. It’s made with cedar fence pickets, hemp rope, deck screws, carriage bolts and corner braces. Top rack is a 5 ft square with ten 5 ft ropes, for a total hanging length of 50 ft. It’s a perfect size for a covered porch, it can be easily disassembled and put back together, or folded to fit indoors. Open design provides for the needed air movement around garlic bulbs.
