This is an old video I made quite a while back when I was rebuilding my engine, I decided to make a video of how to install a head stud the easy way. Some may think of it as half ass, but it ends up being much easier this way and works fine. I’d definitely recommend replacing studs as old ones are hard to reuse and their threads can stretch. Also remember to always use new locking nuts. This procedure can be done with the engine fully assembled and in the car if need be. I only did it for demonstration purposes and because I had the new head.
