While carrying out repairs for massive termite attack and damage we lifted a steel beam and took the load of a structural concrete column. We observed that the column was snapped at the base during original construction and just left and loaded with the load of the building. This was a very dangerous repair job and involves many different tradesmen. It was also a careless and dangerous act by the previous construction crew to leave it in this condition
