Build your own exterior windshield sun screen to help keep the sun’s heat out, but still provide some visibility from inside the boat’s cabin. These exterior mesh vinyl fabric shades have the added benefit of giving you privacy* while your boat is moored. Even though you can see through the mesh fabric from inside the boat’s cabin, people on the outside cannot see through the mesh fabric. Block the HEAT, not your VIEW!
In this video we will show you how to pattern for the shades, sew a facing & binding on the edges and then how to install snaps and adhesive snap components called YKK Snads to the boat (a no drill solution for a snap stud).

* NOTE – The visibility through the screen is always determined on the side of the screen which has the least amount of light. For example; At night if the lights are on full power inside a boat’s cabin the people on the outside will see silhouettes of persons inside the boat’s cabin.
