I made this homemade lift for my new Wrangler. Took about 2 1/2 hours once I measured, cut installed, etc.
Used 4 ratchet straps to eye bolts and rather than hooking directly to the hardtop, I used canvas straps on the inside.
I had the ratchet straps ($0), the straps on the inside to make the sling were given to me by a GREAT guy at the Danbury EMS store. I purchased the lag bolts, eye bolts, washers and 2x4s for $22.
