This topsoil screener is designed for skid steers, bucket tractors, small compact articulating loaders up to a 78 inch wide bucket.
It has 78 inches of clear span screen deck opening from side to side.
This topsoil screener is powered by 110 volts and runs at 3600 rpm. It’s very simple, draws very little power. You can plug it right into a wall circuit or use a small generator up to 150 feet away keeping your engine and air filters a long ways away from the dusty environment.
We’re using 110 volt vibrator that bolts to this laminated mounting plate. The vibrations head out into these basic upright tubes. We suspend the deck over the top of these so that the vibration radiates all the way out to the edge of the screener. The big advantage to that is if you do put something really heavy, like rocks, wet dirt, or concrete on here it will come down and touch it, so it’s supported, and then once that load is off it will come back up and have that vibration radiating out to the edges.
Our C spring and our coil spring oppose each other Those opposing forces keep it in motion helping the material move down the screen.
This topsoil screener is 8 foot, from this edge to the other edge. It has the ability to load cross ways on your trailer so that you can still put your skid load on behind. This little screener is a contractor’s best friend; it can be with you everywhere you go. It’s a big savings for contractors when they can recycle soil on site.
Our load extension for our SLG-78 topsoil screener creates a narrower stance for this screener to sit on narrower trailers
Our lift extensions for the SLG-78 allow you to pick it up and move it around with the bucket’s cutting edge.
This topsoil screener is a fully bolt together machine. We can ship anywhere in the lower 48. You’re looking at about 3 hours, 3.5, maybe 4 hours to complete assembly
You can purchase any size mesh to fit your particular needs. Screen sizes vary depending on the material your screening: sand, rock, gravel, concrete, topsoil, plant material, and dirt.
We now have a feed deflector that takes out a lot of the technicality of feeding the machine. You just drive up, pour your soil onto the feed deflector and it does the rest.
Compress the deck to change the slope. Your bucket can compress this screen deck down to flatten out that slop. The slop can come down to about 30 degrees on this machine. The sloping legs can extend out tilting the topsoil screener back a little. Use the steeper angle for wet material like mud and dirt and then decrease the angle for drier materials like beach sands.
The other nice thing about the feed deflector is that below the feed deflector is 7 and 1/2 inches of opening. Something bigger than 7 and 1/2 inches will sit between the bottom of the feed deflector and the screen deck. Compressing the screen deck down adds another 5 and 1/2 inches of opening creating about 12 and 1/2 inches of opening that lets the oversized material come through.
The load extensions, vibratory pack, lift extensions, and sloping legs can all be purchased as an accessory for this portable topsoil screener. We break this stuff up in increments so you can buy the screener to fit your needs and your budget.
