nowadays retailers call every painted pattern on a carbon steel blade, Damascus Steel.
They probably know which one is real and which is not but they are choosing to ‘reel in the dough’ associated with the allure of real folded (Damascus)steel.
in this video I’m asking my viewers to assist me in determining the real nature of this blade.
Devil’s Edge is out of Pakistan so with the cost of labor there KOA they may be able to bring to market a real folded steel beuty like this one or they could be just acid etching it and saving on the smith’s labor, what do you think?
