Window washers in Tennessee dress as superheroes in a heartwarming stunt for the children’s hospital.

Halloween doesn’t just have to be all about spookiness.

This year, window washers in Tennessee pulled a clever trick.

Employees of American National Skyline knocked on windows, to the surprise of kids at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. The workers were harnessed, while they climbed down the outside of the building, dressed as Spiderman, complete with mask and gloves.

Two of the employees pitched the idea to their boss about a month ago. The two window washers wore identical Spiderman costumes, while their manager sported a Captain America suit.

The three men walked the halls and posed for pictures after. One of the guys stated “The kids loved it. For those, 20 to 30 minutes, they forgot they were in the hospital.”

Also in October, window washers in Pennsylvania did a similar good-hearted stunt. Patients at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh looked outside to see Spiderman, Batman, Captain America and Superman cleaning the windows.

The washing company arranged the costume feat and one worker stated “The kids were loving it. Everywhere we went, they were coming in from different rooms”.
