This vacuum high pressure die casting process produces high grade cast parts with high levels of weldability, dimensional accuracy and mechanical properties. The thin-walled, large-surface area and multifunctional components can be used in both the structure and chassis of the vehicle as well as the engine section. This economic process continues to find new fields of application in aluminium high pressure die casting, in particular in conjunction with AURAL® alloys and AURALTHERM® heat treatment.
