The three wise men of Top Gear embark on a seasonal road trip in attempts to recreate the famous journey across the Middle East to Bethlehem. Their adventure takes place in a trio of open top sports cars, each ill-equipped to face the conflict ridden mountains of Southern Turkey, the dangerous war zones of Iraq and the searing deserts of Syria.
Effort to completely penetrate a 1/4″ thick piece of welding steel with the 62 gr NATO “green tip” round in 5.56 mm. This is NOT armor plating….far from it. Distance to target was 80 yards. Footage includes slow-motion of the hit.
I would like to try this again at a longer distance, such as 150 or 200 yards.
