ACDelco tips for installation of hook lock style wiper blades. First, carefully lift the wiper arm away from the windshield. Next, remove the worn wiper blade by pressing the tab on the bottom of the hook lock adapter clip and pull the wiper blade out of the open end near the hook lock until it’s free. With a hook lock type wiper arm, you’ll need to attach the hook lock adapter onto the new wiper blade. Now you can install your new wiper blade by fitting the hook on the wiper arm on the hook lock adapter of your new wiper blade and pulling it up until it locks into place. Finally, carefully lower the new wiper blades down onto the windshield and test to ensure that they work correctly. ACDelco recommends that you change your wiper blades either when the wear indicator turns yellow, or you see visible signs of wear. Visit ACDelco.com today for more information.
