This video shows me installing a USB port into my cars dashboard. It’s a 12 volt to 5v DC converter with a maximum output of 3amp which is high enough for iPads and other power hungry devices.
It’s wired to the back of the cigarette lighter with an inline 5amp fuse.
I did some wet sanding around the install area to try clean up the small amount of damage that I showed in the first clip.
