We are at the rise of brewery in Cologne. Since March 2009 a double-end Lavatec KD bottle washer has been up and running here. The paramount advantage of the double-end strategy is its clear seperation between the dirty bottles and the clean one.
The washeris total length comes to 17 meters, and it weighs more than 100 tons. The clean design provided, with an exceptionally high proportion of stainless steel, meets the most stringent of hygiene requirements. The bottles pass through several caustic baths in vertical loops.
