Bracket: While bidding deck jobs we have seen literally hundreds of old decks this video will help you build a stronger deck rail. We welcome your calls if you’d like to use our bracket, or need help finding a supplier. Call Deck Solutions: 303-467-1874 It’s a common problem for the front rim of a deck to pull away from the joist. The first sign of a failed rim is a wobbly handrail. In time the whole deck will go if the rim loosens.

My crews build strong decks, FAST. As a professional deck builder, I’ve earned a reputation for the strength of my decks and I warranty the durability of my work in a harsh climate. I investigated every bracket out there and was dissatisfied with all of them. Ultimately I designed my own hardware

The R.r.e.b.l. is a faster method than brackets that require pre-drilling it’s stronger and your deck will be better looking because it doesn’t clutter the rim board with nuts and washers.

You can think of this bracket like a claw. It locks the rim of a deck to it’s supporting joist and is capable of withstanding 600lbs of force.

Calling out the Top 10 deck building mistakes, Fine Home Building Magazine says: Rims are typically nailed into the end grain of the joist, THE WEAKEST POSSIBLE CONNECTION FOR WITHDRAWAL RESISTANCE. Our bracket was designed to solve this problem and can be used for repairs or new construction.

Alright, today on this old trailer, were gonna replace an axle. The axle were replacing is whats called a mobile home axle and were replacing it with a very similar axle thats called a UGT axle. Theyre gonna be identical on the outside of the mobile home axle but the brakes and sometimes the bearings are a little bit different on the inside. To start off our replacement, were gonna remove the old axle. We got our trailer up in the air and we can easily remove the two u-bolts here and here. We can see that the axle is sitting up on the top of the spring; well go ahead and loosen this bolt as well.
