The worn, old or broken back cover degrades the HTC One M8. It is a wise choice to replace the old HTC One M8 back cover by yourself. Here will teach you how to do.

What you should do:
Step 1 Take away two card trays.
Step 2 Remove two speaker covers (secured by glue)
Step 3 Tear down the back cover (secured by two Phillips screws, four Torx screws and several hidden keys)
Step 4 Install the back cover
Step 5 Put six screws and two speaker covers back
Tips: Freeing the back housing is the most difficult step. The back housing is fixed by many hidden keys. We have marked the position of the hidden keys by some yellow labels. Be careful and patient, you can do it.

Removing Brake Rotor Screws That Won’t Come Out – EricTheCarGuy
I think the title covers this one. Honda’s are famous for this so I made this little video to help you should you be in this situation. Wear your safety glasses when you do this or whenever you hit things, getting crap in your eye sucks, trust me. Impact drivers can be found at your local tool supplier. If you don’t have a hammer I don’t know what to tell you. This doesn’t seem to require a long explanation so I’m going to stop typing now.
